THE SMALL PRINT

Privacy policy.

Last updated: 6 November 2026

This policy explains what personal information I collect when you use this website or get in touch, why I collect it, who I share it with and the rights you have over it. I keep it to what I actually need.

Who I am

This website is run by Nuri Adams, a UGC creator and certified nutritionist based in the UK. I am the data controller for the personal information described here, which means I decide how it is used and I am responsible for looking after it.

For anything about this policy or your information, email me at [email protected].

What I collect

When you send an enquiry

Your name, email address, brand name, the deliverables you are interested in, your budget, your timeline, anything you write about your project, and whether you would like my media kit. If we go on to work together, I will also hold the details needed to deliver the work and invoice for it.

When you email or message me

Your contact details and whatever you choose to include in your message.

When you visit the website

Like most websites, the server that hosts this site keeps short-term technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested, to keep it secure and working. Cookies and similar technologies are covered in the cookies section below.

I don’t ask for sensitive information such as health details. Please don’t include any in an enquiry; if you do, I will only use it to reply to you.

How I use your information

Data protection law requires me to have a lawful basis for each use. These are mine:

What I do Lawful basis
Reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible collaboration Steps you have asked me to take before entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries
Send you my media kit, if you ask for it Your request (consent), which you can withdraw at any time
Deliver the work, invoice and keep business records if we work together Performance of our contract, and my legal obligations (for example tax records)
Protect the enquiry form from spam using a security check (hCaptcha) My legitimate interest in keeping the website secure
Keep the website secure and working (server logs) My legitimate interest in running a secure website
Set cookies that aren’t strictly necessary, and play embedded YouTube videos Your consent, given through the cookie banner

I don’t sell your information, use it for automated decision-making, or add you to a mailing list.

Who I share it with

I only share your information with service providers who help me run this website and my business. They may only use it to provide their service to me.

  • Melted Media, my web developer, which builds, hosts and maintains this website.
  • Brevo, which delivers the emails sent from the enquiry form.
  • GoDaddy, which hosts my email inbox and website domain.
  • hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.), which provides the security check on the enquiry form.
  • Google, which provides the embedded YouTube videos and the fonts used on this website.
  • Cookiebot (Usercentrics), which manages the cookie banner and records your cookie choices.

I may also share information if the law requires it, for example with HMRC or in response to a valid legal request.

International transfers

Some of these providers, such as Google and hCaptcha, may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the ICO’s international data transfer agreement or addendum.

How long I keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to work together: up to 2 years, then deleted.
  • Client and project records: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as HMRC requires.
  • Server logs and security-check data: kept by the hosting and hCaptcha providers for a short period in line with their own policies.
  • Cookies: for the periods shown in the cookie declaration below.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. This website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, and only sets any others, including those placed by embedded YouTube videos, if you agree to them in the cookie banner. YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode, which limits what YouTube stores until you play a video.

The full list of cookies, what they do and how long they last is below. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from here.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you
  • ask me to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask me to delete your information
  • ask me to restrict how I use it, or object to my using it where I rely on legitimate interests
  • ask for information you gave me in a reusable format, where that applies
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where I rely on consent

To use any of these rights, email me at [email protected]. It’s free, and I will reply within one month. If I need to confirm your identity first, I will let you know.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first by emailing [email protected]. I will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, and let you know the outcome.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Other websites

This website links to other sites, such as Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and I am not responsible for how they use your information.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
